E-Mail Client
Use these settings to configure the receiver to use a specific email client which can be used to send email alerts regarding the status of the receiver.
Select Network Configuration / E-Mail Client.
E-Mail Authorization Required – Select this check box if the email server requires authorization.
SMTP Server – Enter the SMTP (outgoing mail server) address that the email will be sent from. For Gmail, this will be smtp.gmail.com.
SMTP Port – Enter the SMTP port that the receiver connects to on the email server. The most common SMTP Port is 25. For Gmail with TLS (Transport Layer Security) enabled, this will be 465. Check with the provider for the correct port to use depending on the security settings.
Enable SSL/TLS – Select if the connection to the SMTP server should be over TLS. This security feature needs to be enabled for most secure email servers such as Gmail.
NOTE – The receiver only supports servers that accept TLS connection directly, and does not support upgrading of unencrypted connections by using StartTLS.
From E-Mail Address – Enter an address from which the email will be sent.
E-Mail Login Name – Enter the login name (if required) that is required to send an email on the SMTP server listed above. For servers that require authentication, this is normally required to be the From E-Mail Address. For Gmail, this is the Gmail address.
E-Mail Login Password – Enter the login password (if required) that is required to send an email on the SMTP server listed above.
NOTE – If that account has multi-factor authentication (MFA/2FA), then you need to create an application specific password.
Verify Password – Re-enter the login password.
Using a Gmail email client
Use the following settings for a Gmail account.
E-Mail Authorization Required – Select this check box.
SMTP Server – Enter smtp.gmail.com.
SMTP Port – Enter the SMTP port 465.
Enable SSL/TLS – Select this check box to enable security.
From E-Mail Address – Enter the Gmail address.
E-Mail Login Name – Enter the Gmail address.
E-Mail Login Password – Enter the app password (see below).
Verify Password – Enter the app password.
Creating and using app passwords

Go to your Google account.

Select Security.

Under Signing in to Google, select App passwords. You may need to sign in. If you don’t have this option, it might be because:

2-Step verification is not set up for your account.

2-Step verification is only set up for security keys.

Your account is through work, school, or other organization.
-
You turned on Advanced Protection.

At the bottom, choose Select device and choose Other(Custom name), then add your custom name.

Click GENERATE. The app password is the 16-character code in the yellow bar.

Copy and paste the password into the web interface fields: E-Mail Login Password and Verify Password.

Tap Done.
