IP Filtering and QoS

Enables you to specify one or more ranges of IP addresses with which the receiver can communicate. When IP Filtering is enabled, all communication with out-of-range IP addresses will be suppressed.

For example: Setting up a single IP range with:

IP Address: 192.168.1.0

Bits: Netmask: 24:255.255.255.0

specifies that all IP addresses between 192.168.1.0 and 192.168.1.255 can communicate with the receiver and connections with all other external address will be suppressed.
