IonoGuard data status

This message is a Trimble-created message. It consists of multiple messages giving the IonoGuard status for the station and for each constellation. Examples of the message strings are:

PTNL,IGD message fields

NOTE – The PTNL,IGD message may exceed the NMEA-0183 standard of 80 characters.

2	Station IonoGuard activity level: 0: Green (no or negligible activity) 1: Yellow 2: Orange 3: Red (high activity)
3	Source of IonoGuard data: 0: Unknown - Not set 1: Broadcast from RTK base station 2: Computed at the rover from base observation 3: Broadcast from RTX
4	IonoGuard Geofence status: 0: Inside Iono Geofence 1: Outside Iono Geofence When empty, the Geofence status does not affect IonoGuard (that is, when IonoGuard corrections are sent from a Trimble base station).

PTNL,GPIGD message fields

The GPIGD message reports detailed IonoGuard status for each GPS satellite:
