MSS controls record

The MSS controls record sets MSS operating parameters for the receiver, including the custom beam configuration.

The following table shows the additional records provided when the MSS controls record is included with Command Packet 64h.

Satellite number when "Demodulator Setting" is not VBS-only:

  • 1–32: satellite number (this list is dynamic, not all are associated with a current and active satellite beam.)

  • 100 (64h): Custom Beam that allows user to configure the frequency and bit rate

  • 110 (6Eh): Auto selection of available satellite (beam) according to the current position of the receiver.
